HKFA is one of the oldest and most important prize competitions in Asia, and it has been running for more than three decades. The judges of the HKFA are drawn from Hong Kong’s thriving film industry, which encompasses directors, producers, actors and other film professionals. Besides awarding the main winner, the HKFA also has a number of special awards to honour distinguished filmmakers and individuals.
